Giving Tuesday

Dear Choral Music Lovers and Supporters,

To say that this is not the year we planned would be an understatement. Like many of our choral friends across the state, across the country, and across the world, the global pandemic has kept us from rehearsing and performing for most of 2020. With our season on indefinite hold, our board has been hard at work, throughout the summer and fall, planning for an eventual return to singing when conditions allow. One thing is for sure – it is that music is still the one true thing that connects us, that binds us, and that heals us, as together we find our way forward through this unprecedented event.

As we do this, we still need your help as we prepare a return to singing. Our revenue sources were eliminated during the pandemic, and although we were able to eliminate many expenses, we will still rely on the generosity of our supporters to help us to undertake things like remote recordings and prepare for an eventual return to live singing.

We strive to expand our audience outreach, bring the joy of choral singing to under-served areas of our community, and lay the foundation for many future successful educational programs and artistic collaborations. We intend to return to all of these foundational elements as soon the pandemic has retreated.

Your support during this “GIVING TUESDAY” opportunity, at any level, enables the BNC to continue its work in fostering shared experiences, collaboration, and cultural understanding across the Buffalo Niagara community, all through the medium of choral music.

Thank you very much for your generosity and support!

Best Wishes,

Jeffrey F. Renzoni
